They are identical to Legendary items except that their base attributes (damage or armor) and all non-percentile affixes roll higher values for both minimum and maximum possible rolls. ![]() In general, Ancient and Primal Ancient items are more powerful versions of Legendary items. For those of you who may have taken a break from gathering loot recently, we thought a quick refresher was in order to clear up any confusion about the differences between Legendary, Ancient, and Primal Ancient items. Reason for not including it in the title is that for weapons/offhands/jewelry, you want to have 3-4 perfect stats, which is extremely difficult to get so primal versions of these are clearly superior (except when they are worse) for end game.Ancient items truly shine in Season 17: so long as you have no Set bonuses equipped, each Ancient you equip will provide you with a massive 750% boost to damage dealt and 4% reduction in damage taken. Simplest fix is to add several difficulty setting for Adventure Mode so we have T14, T15, T16, T17 (65, 70, 75, 80) and you'd get 17, 18, 19, 20 mats.Įdit: obviously, I meant primals/decently rolled ancients. Why is it considered a good design choice? The best way of getting gear to push GR120 is by doing equivalent of GR60? It does not make sense to me. Still, you have much better chance of getting godly gear by doing boring T13 bounties, where you're immune to damage, practically speaking, and the most challenging part is to find the location. So, you get 10-12 fangs by reforging, 1 of which happens to be ancient (10% chance), none are primal. Now, if you decide to do bounties with a slow group, you gain 50-70 materials in the same amount of time. So, you do 20 runs and get 3 fangs (I'm being generous here, it's RNG after all). ![]() ![]() Say, you have necro who can solo GR100 under 5 minutes.
